Do you need a motion sensor? It’s very helpful. In fact, it’s simple to use since all you need to do is to power it and wait for a few seconds, and *BAAM* a snapshot of the room has been taken, and then the creepy part starts; whenever anything moves after that snapshot, the alarm pin goes low!

This unit works great from 5 to 12V! Also, installing a jumper wire past the 5V regulator on board is possible in order to make this unit work at 3.3V. Sensor uses 1.6mA@3.3V.

The alarm pin is an open collector which means that a pull up resistor is needed and is very crucial to have on the alarm pin. The open drain setup allows multiple motion sensors to be connected on a single input pin. Check the following important meanings.
Red = Power, White = Ground, and Black = Alarm.
